Mark B. Johnson, Esq., of Andover Named to Lawrence General Board of Trustees

Lawrence General Hospital is pleased to welcome Mark B. Johnson, Esq., of Andover to its Board of Trustees. Johnson is founder of Johnson & Borenstein LLC, a mid-size real estate and civil litigation law firm located in Andover. He has been practicing in Andover since 1986.

Johnson’s law firm focuses on all aspects of real estate, including real estate development, land use planning and permitting, resolution of title disputes and permitting appeals, and representing clients in residential, commercial and construction financing and transactions. In addition, the firm represents clients in a variety of corporate and civil litigation matters. The firm has attorneys admitted to practice in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, and the District of Columbia.

A native of Brooklyn, NY, Johnson attended The American University in Washington, DC, and the Boston University School of Law. He is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Real Estate Bar Association, and the New Hampshire Bar Association.

During his time in Andover, Johnson has held leadership roles in several community organizations, including the Service Club of Andover, CLASS, Inc., the High Plain - Wood Hill School Building Committee, and the Bancroft School Building Committee. Currently he serves on the Town of Andover Permanent Town Building Advisory Committee, the West Elementary School Building Committee, the Andover High School Facilities Study Committee, and is on the Board of Directors of the Lanam Club. He was the recipient of the Rotary Club of Andover’s Citizens Who Care Award in 2003. Johnson lives in Andover with his wife, Katy, and has two grown children, Danielle and Nathan.
