Meet Our Upper Extremity Surgeons
Pamela L. Jones, MD, specializes in
orthopedic care of the upper extremity from the shoulder to the fingertips. She
has subspecialty training expertise and completed a Hand and Upper Extremity
fellowship at Yale University. Dr. Jones is also a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and a member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand. She has been recognized throughout the region as
an exceptionally successful hand and upper extremity surgeon, serving patients

Dr. Josh Pletka, MD, is new to our community, coming from an active practice in Syracuse, New
York, where he was also an adjunct professor at the State University of New
York Upstate, Department of Orthopedics. He specializes in both open and
arthroscopic surgeries of the hand, wrist and shoulder, including complex
rotator cuff repair, reconstructive surgery, primary and revision shoulder
replacement and repair of fractures. Dr. Pletka is a fellow of the American
Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a member of the American Society for

Richard Choi, MD, has a special focus on hand surgery, upper extremity injuries and trauma.
He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American
Academy of Hand surgeons, and the Massachusetts Medical Society. He is also a
former member of the Lawrence General Hospital Board of Trustees and has served
