Robotic Surgery is Here!

Available now, at Lawrence General’s Joint Program: robot-assisted total and partial knee replacement surgery. The super precise implant placement is pre-planned by the surgeon using CT images of each patient. The result is a joint replacement that generally provides patients with:

  • Less blood loss
  • Less post-surgical pain
  • Quicker recovery
  • Earlier joint flexibility
  • Better patient satisfaction

Surgeons are specially trained to operate using the robotic-arm. Click here to learn more about the robot.

As part of the Lawrence General Joint Program, patients will participate in a pre-surgical physical therapy home assessment and a pre-surgical “Joints in Motion” education class at the hospital. Joint Program patients also have access to a knowledgeable orthopedic care team including physician assistants and physical therapists both in the hospital and after being discharged home.

Find out if you qualify for this new technology by contacting our Joint Program at JointProgram@lawrencegeneral.org or calling 978-946-8009.
