Robotic Surgery is Here!
Available now, at Lawrence General’s Joint Program:
robot-assisted total and partial knee replacement surgery. The super precise
implant placement is pre-planned by the surgeon using CT images of each
patient. The result is a joint replacement that generally provides patients
with:
- Less blood loss
- Less post-surgical pain
- Quicker recovery
- Earlier joint flexibility
- Better patient satisfaction
Surgeons are specially trained to operate using the
robotic-arm. Click here to learn more about the robot.
As part of the Lawrence General Joint Program, patients
will participate in a pre-surgical physical therapy home assessment and a
pre-surgical “Joints in Motion” education class at the hospital. Joint
Program patients also have access to a knowledgeable orthopedic care team
including physician assistants and physical therapists both in the hospital and
after being discharged home.
Find out if you qualify for this new technology by
