Patient Referrals

Referrals and prior authorizations need to be initiated in the office of the referring physician.

Please FAX Physician orders and patient demographics to the Short Stay Unit at 978-946-8013. The Financial Counseling department will verify that both the referral and prior authorization (if required) are in place.

When it has been determined that the above elements are in place, the staff of the Short Stay Unit will call the patient of schedule a convenient appointment time.
