How quickly can an appointment be arranged when needed?
MITS consults are scheduled every Wednesday and, often times, appointments can be arranged for the next scheduled clinic day. In addition, surgical cases can often be scheduled as quickly as one week from the initial appointment if necessary.

What should I bring to a scheduled appointment?
All patients are asked to bring with them CD's of previous exams including CT scans, PET scans, and X-rays if appropriate. In addition, please bring a copy of your insurance card and a current list of all medications being taken at home.

How quickly will I have information following my appointment (i.e., results of my tests, decisions regarding surgery)?
The typical turnaround time for testing results is approximately 5 days. If your results are available sooner, as they often are, we will notify you.
