Lab Services

Our commitment to providing quality results for the care and safety of our patients is our number one priority. Our full-service laboratory, accredited by the College of American Pathologists, performs tests that include Microbiology, Chemistry, Hematology, Immunology, Blood Bank, Urinalysis, and Anatomical Pathology. The Lawrence General Laboratory provides round-the-clock coverage 365 days/year. To provide constant care, a Pathologist is on call 24 hours/day and is supported by Technical Specialists in each of the diagnostic departments.

Our Laboratory is equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic instrumentation and is staffed by certified professionals committed to quality diagnostic testing. Our testing menu is comprised of 4,500 tests and produces nearly 2 million results per year.

The Laboratory has 100 full-time and part-time employees, including a Medical Director, Administrative Director, Technical Specialists, Medical Technologists, Medical Technicians, Phlebotomists, and support staff.
