Billing & Financial Information
HOSPITAL BILL Your bill will be submitted directly to your insurance carrier. If there is a remaining balance beyond insurance coverage, you will receive a statement for that amount from the Hospital. If you would like to receive an itemized bill, you may request one from Patient Accounts. Payment plans are available. For questions regarding your Hospital bill, please call Patient Accounts at 978-683-4000, ext. 2850 Monday through Friday between 8:00am and 6:00pm.
Hospital bills can be paid either in person by visiting the Patient Accounts Office on the first floor of the Hospital, or by sending the bill statement with payment to:
Lawrence General Hospital Patient Accounts One General Street Lawrence, MA 01842 PHYSICIAN BILLS You may also receive bills from others involved in your care, such as your personal physician, radiologist, pathologist, or anesthesiologist. You must arrange to pay these bills directly to the practitioners. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE If you are uninsured, there are several options that may cover the cost of health care services for you and your family. The Financial Counseling Office can inform you of the options available, eligibility requirements, additional financial assistance you might qualify for, and help you apply. Please contact the Financial Counseling Office to speak with a Patient Financial Counselor as soon as possible to determine which program is right for you.

The Financial Counseling Office is located on the Lawrence General Hospital Campus in Building 38, which is at the top of the hill at the corner of Marston and General Street. Parking is available at Building 38.
