Emergency Center Wait Times
If you have a serious or life threatening emergency, contact 911 immediately. Patients with life-threatening emergencies are always seen immediately in our Emergency Center.
The wait time information is provided to you via a "live feed" directly from the patient bed board in our 41-bay Emergency Center. Because new patients arrive frequently, your personal experience may vary in either direction from the posted times since the average time is reflected above. The times are averaged and refreshed every 10 minutes.
Having an Emergency Center nearby is great, but even more critical is a Center that can treat you quickly and effectively, as Lawrence General's does over 200 times per day with a Rapid Medical Evaluation wait time typically averaging less than 15 minutes.
