Lawrence General Hospital Names New Chief Information Officer
Lawrence General Hospital is pleased to announce it has appointed Jeffrey Brown as the hospital’s Chief Information Officer.
Mr. Brown comes to Lawrence General Hospital with over 10 years of combined technical, health informatics, and leadership experience. His experience has included positions held with Outcome Sciences in Cambridge; Partners Health Care in Boston; Children’s Hospital in Boston; Deloitte Consulting in Boston; and most recently, Steward Health Care in Dedham where he was the Director of Informatics.
“We’re very excited to have Jeff lead us to the next level of health care delivery by leveraging information technology in the ever changing health care landscape,” stated Denise Palumbo, RN, MSN, Chief Operating Officer at Lawrence General Hospital.
Mr. Brown received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Kansas, Lawrence, Kansas. After receiving a Master’s Certificate in Executive Leadership & Management at MIT Sloan School of Management in Boston, received a Master of Science degree in Health Informatics from Northeastern University in Boston. In addition to being active in a variety of professional activities, Mr. Brown is currently an Adjunct Professor at both Brandeis University and Northeastern University.
