• Lawrence General Hospital is clinically affiliated with Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a teaching hospital of the Harvard Medical School, and Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center.
• Our annual census numbers average 12,000 inpatients, 73,000 emergency visits, 1,800 births and 200,000 outpatient visits.
• Our Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory provides for both emergency and elective angioplasty. Our affiliation with the CardioVascular Institute of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center means that our Cardiac Care services rank amongst the very best in the state.  Our "door to balloon" times average under 65 minutes, with the Gold Standard being 90 minutes.

• Lawrence General Hospital has been named a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology; only 17% of the hospitals in Massachusetts enjoy this achievement and designation.
• In 2011, Lawrence General Hospital was recognized as a "Community Value Five-Star Hospital" based upon cost and charge structures, financial viability, plant reinvestment and quality performance. 
• Our Emergency Center is the one of the busiest in the state. We see more than 73,000 patients annually, yet our triage time averages less than 15 minutes, so we are also one of the most efficient in Massachusetts.
• Our donors and friends recently invested $557,000 to fully renovate The Pediatric Center at Lawrence General Hospital – a secure, family-friendly environment with new private rooms that make it possible for parents to stay in the room with their child overnight.
• Through an expansion of our affiliation with the Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, a team of skilled pediatricians from Floating Hospital are on site at Lawrence General 24x7.
• Lawrence General was the first hospital in our state to offer "Ambient Experience" MRI; you choose the lighting, colors and images that are displayed on the walls, and the music.
• A recent analysis of Blue Cross payments for cardiac procedures here at Lawrence General showed the average cost savings to have cath procedures here, versus in Boston, was $10,000 in savings per procedure for similar quality and results, and even sometimes by the same physician.  Pediatric cases at LGH provide a cost savings of over $3,000 per procedure.
• Opened in 2010, our 4-suite Sleep Center gives patients easy, convenient access to a full range of diagnostic testing capabilities and clinical evaluation for sleep disorders that can adversely affect their daily lives. Unlike other centers that can take up to six weeks to deliver test results, we turn ours around in about two weeks.
• Opened in 2010, our new Minimally Invasive Thoracic Surgery (MITS) Clinic was founded to better serve the thoracic surgical needs of people in the Merrimack Valley and surrounding communities.
• Opened in 2011, the therapists in our new Outpatient Physical Therapy Center work closely with your physician, orthopedic surgeon, or other specialists to provide complete and comprehensive care for you all in one convenient location.
